Colette
Hello, I started my counselling journey in 2021 and studied Pearsons HNC Level 4 in Counselling and Psychotherapy after successfully completing Level 2 and 3. I found A Time 2 Talk an amazing organisation to put my skills into action during my student placement.
I graduated in 2025 and during my placement at A Time 2 Talk I have developed strong therapeutic relationships with my clients and integrated theory into effective and efficient counselling practice. My supervisors noted my professionalism and reflective approach, and I was invited to continue counselling as a qualified counsellor volunteering with A Time 2 Talk after my graduation. This commitment has given me the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a professional counselling setting whilst continuing to develop further my skills as a counsellor
My approach is Person Centred therapy, a humanistic approach which is led by the client. I provide a safe, open space with no judgement so my clients can freely talk about current challenges and issues that are going on in day-to-day life. Whether you are dealing with academic stress, relationships, self-esteem or just needing someone to listen. I am here to support you, and you will find clarity and coping strategies with the right tools and techniques that I can share with you.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapists) and work within the ethical framework. I also have a full enhanced DBS certificate and the required insurance.
